Anticipating this change, MSHIPCO has designed the first naval ship developed specifically for supporting unmanned systems and engineered to fit on the MLP or Amphibious Assault Ship. Called the Stiletto Maritime Operations Center (MOC), it’s based on the prototype and leverages operational experiences in the Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean over the last five years.
The Stiletto MOC is a low cost, high-speed, shallow-draft, wide platform that uses M-hull® Technology to easily launch unmanned air, surface and underwater vehicles while preserving its stealthy, high-performance capabilities.
The Stiletto MOC can operate independently to support both manned and unmanned operations for sustained periods with robust force protection, fast ingress and egress speeds, and low probability of detection for a variety of low-profile missions.
MSHIPCO is an award-winning naval design firm specializing in research and development of maritime platforms for the military and commercial markets. MSHIP team is uniquely qualified to support the growing use of unmanned system in the marine environment. The team includes former military operators and engineers with extensive “real-world” experience, as well as industry specialists in the areas of design, research, testing and operations.
