MSHIP's ToughShip® Technology was put to the test at the Carlsbad 5000

MSHIP's Bill Burns led "Team MSHIP" this year at the Carlsbad 5000, billed as the World's Fastest 5K. The 13 members gathered to run and walk 5,000 meters (3.1 miles) in the beautiful Village of Carlsbad, Calif., on Sunday, April 11. The goal for everyone on the team was to go the distance, just like our ToughShip Technology, and of course, have fun! After the race, fellow runners got together for live music and complimentary beers.
Inspired by the company's luminary and co-founder Chuck Robinson, whose creativity, toughness and active lifestyle - his daily runs in Moscow as Deputy Secretary of State had the KGB begging for mercy - demonstrate the benefits of working hard and staying healthy.
M Ship is developing ToughShip Technology to toughen composite materials that will withstand the rigors and abuse of a wartime environment. These ruggedized composite solutions will be used in the construction of "Tough Ship" vessels for military and commercial operations.
